Arctic Fox Adoption Kit
Arctic foxes are prized for their fur and a prime target of the fur trade. Some Arctic fox populations have also fallen victim to disease spread from domestic dogs. As climate change intensifies, the snowline has been receding further north, shrinking the Arctic fox’s range and allowing the northward advance of the red fox, which out-competes its more specialized arctic cousin.
Your adoption supports our work to pass vital legislation that helps wildlife struggling to adapt to climate change. It also enables us to educate the public about climate change and threats to Arctic species and fight efforts to open up the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to oil and gas development.
